BUSINESS
Have an idea for starting a new business but don’t know where to start? Wondering how to protect and keep your personal assets separate from the business? We offer flat fees for new business start-ups, annual shareholder meetings, and preparation of Buy/Sell Agreements. We handle the sale and purchase of existing businesses whether as a Stock Transfer or Asset Transfer. We help businesses prepare Independent Contractor Agreements, Non-Competition Agreements and nearly any type of business contract. Rochester Business Law – we’re here to help and on an affordable flat fee basis!
ESTATE PLANNING
Who will care for the children if something happens to me? Should the guardian manage the physical care and the money for my children, or should those duties be separated? Will my assets, regardless of size, go the persons I want to have them? Does someone have the power to transact business for me and take care of things if I am incapacitated? Do I need a power of attorney or a durable power of attorney or both? What’s the difference between a Living Will and a Health Care Directive? Should I be thinking about a Revocable Trust? How do I avoid the time and expense of Probate?
Estate Planning brings peace of mind. It is one of the very nicest gifts you can give your family. At Rochester Business Law, we’re here to help answer these questions and provide the documents you need, all on an affordable flat fee basis.
REAL ESTATE
Buying or leasing real property is often a big decision and a large investment. Are there any clouds on the title? Do I need title insurance? Am I protected if my Landlord is unreasonable? Am I protected if my Tenant doesn’t pay the rent? What items should be included in the Purchase Agreement? At Rochester Business Law we are here to assist with the purchase or lease of commercial and residential property. We draft and/or review Purchase Agreements, Leases, Title Opinions, and Option Agreements. Rochester Business Law – we’re here to help and mostly on an affordable flat fee basis.
ARBITRATION-MEDIATION
Rochester Business Law has a goal of keeping clients out of court. We accomplish this mainly by proper setting up and drafting of documents for our clients. However, sometimes conflicts bring about a need for alternative dispute resolution. Both mediation and arbitration are successful and cost effective ways of resolving disputes. Attorney Kathryn Moe is an approved arbitrator for the National Center for Dispute Settlement. Rochester Business Law – we’re here to help and mostly on an affordable flat fee basis.
